The Case of The Desperate Duck

Mabel fluttered her wings.
"I can't disappoint my mother!" she wailed.
Jack looked at Bunny.
"She can't disappoint her mother," said Jack.
Bunny pulled out her notepad.
"Ma'am, we are private detectives,"said Bunny.
"Who appreciate sugar," said Jack.

This story is case number 8 of The High-Rise Private Eyes series.
Bunny Brown and Jack Jones are private detectives. Bunny is the brains, Jack is the snoop.
In this case, they try to find a missing box of fancy sugar cubes from Mabel's Tea Room. The sugar cubes are Mable's mother's favorite part of high tea. Therefore Mable is in trouble over missing that.
Jack and Bunny look for somebody who needed sugar cubes, and follow two ferrets. Did they do that? And why?

Henry and Mudge and The Snowman Plan

On a snowy day in January, Henry and Henry's big dog Mudge saw a sign in a store window.

"A snowman contest!" said Henry. "Wow!" Mudge wagged his tail.

One snowy day, Henry find a sign about a snowman contest in the park. He and his big dog Mudge are excited about the contest, and they and Henry's father decide to attend that.
In the contest day, participants are make many different snowmans. Can Henry and his father win the contest?

Frog knocked at Toad's door.
"Toad, wake up," he cried.
"Come out and see how wonderful the winter is!"
"I will not," said Toad.
"I am in my warm bed."

Frog and Toad All Year is a book in the I Can Read Book series.
There are five stories in this book. Two of the them are in winter story, and
one is in spring, or summer, or fall.
Main characters in this book are Frog and Toad. They are friends, and always together. In this book, they ride a sled on the hill covered with snow, talk about spring, eat big ice cream cone, rake leaves that have fallen down on each other's lawn as a surprise, and spend Christmas.
These stories are very funny, and  probably heal your mind.

The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Clomp, clomp, clomp! Little Billy started across the bridge. Then he heard a cranky voice.
"Stop there! I am going to eat you up!" yelled Troll.
"Wait for my brother. He is bigger and much more delicious than I!" cried Little Billy.

The Three Billy Goats Gruff is a book in the Folk & Fairy Tale Easy Readers series. I have been read this story in Japanese any time when I was little.
Main characters in this story are very cute goats. They are brothers. Their names  are Little Billy, Middle Billy, and Big Billy.
One day, they would like to eat the sweet grass on the other side, so they have to across the bridge.
But there is only one problem. It is a Troll living under the bridge. He tries to eat goats.

Week Post 4

These days, I'm always very sleepy and tired. I don't like rainy day because I cannot be fine then. I like sunny day. However, sunny day in summer is too hot, so I don't like summer. I like spring or fall. Winter is better than summer, I think.
